​The Truck Refrigeration Unit is designed for transporting temperature-sensitive cargo in a variety of truck applications ranging in length from 12 feet to 28 feet. In addition, the multi-temperature system provides flexibility by allowing one truck to be used to transport products with different temperature settings.

Benefits

Maintains a stable temperature when parked

Electric transportation refrigeration systems can operate the compressor by plugging into grid power when the engine is not running. The first benefit is that the driver can maintain a steady temperature to keep the product cool without running the engine. In addition, the truck is quieter; it creates a quieter environment for driving and those around you.

Reduced Carbon Emissions

The main benefits of using an electric refrigeration system in a truck reefer are fuel savings and reduced emissions. While conventional transportation refrigeration units are still powered by the engine when stationary, electric standby transportation refrigeration units are powered by plug-in grid power (also known as shore power). As a result, electric back-up TRUs reduce carbon emissions due to the reduced use of diesel fuel.

Less Maintenance Required

The Electric Standby TRU uses an engine-driven compressor when in transit and a transport rotary refrigeration compressor when parked. The fully electric TRUS always uses a DC rotary compressor or a DC scroll compressor. As a result, it uses fewer parts and requires less maintenance than its diesel counterpart. Eliminating the use of engines also extends the total life of the truck.

4. The hot-gas defrost system with defrost temperature controller, which is safe, fast and reliable to keep the quality of the cargo.
